this looks so good, it reminds me of the cinnamon rolls you can buy in the store. I love them and can't wait to try this..it is a beautiful pic of it too..thanks for sharing...Pennie

We did a couple of pies without "doing" the bottom... and forgot to do the egg wash on the top. the bottom was not quite done, and the top was 'pale'. Still got good reviews, but WE were not happy. We are thinking that we might half bake the bottoms before putting the filling in. Any ideas on that?

Marian, try Bed, Bath & beyond or Sam's. I saw them somewhere. I have several from when I was on a pot pie kick. I saved them all. Right after that, they went to using paper ones. Oh, I see now Aurora said BB&B.

Marian, I got mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I think they are about 4-5".

Yes, we did. Although in a regular pie pan it wouldn't be seen. But we were using pyrex pans, you can see through them, and we wanted te "pretty" to show. We are trying to figure out how to do single serving pies -- does anyone know where to buy SMALL (Pot pie) sized pie pans?
